The beaches in San Francisco are really awesome and the atmosphere is so vibrant you won’t have time to be bored at all. Finding San Francisco hotels is really easy if you know how to look for them. There are many places to visit in San Francisco so you have narrow down your options on places before you try to find San Francisco hotels that work for you.

One of the best places to visit while in San Francisco is the beach. Nothing beats spending the day relaxing in the sand and getting that glorious tan not to mention that swim on the sparking blue waters. Now if you want to spend a lot of time at the beach, you should find a hotel nearby, preferable a few minutes walk from the beach. If you have a lot of money to burn on this trip, you can always go to those expensive San Francisco hotels facing the sandy beach. These hotels have rooms facing the beach so that even if you don’t do out and walk on the sand, you will still have that beautiful view of the sea. As an added attraction, there are hotels in San Francisco which offer small a veranda or balcony to their rooms where you can sit and enjoy the beach from the comfort of your room. However, if your budget is limited, you can always stay on those hotels a little bit farther from the beach. These hotels are usually less expensive than those located at the waterfront area. It’s not really difficult to find these budget hotels in San Francisco in the beach areas. You can always find good information on the Internet and can also book your airport hotel reservations online.

San Francisco has a Chinatown and a Japanese town, which are the oldest in the United States. Contrary to popular beliefs, these places are mostly safe and the people are friendly. The prices of commodities are also very good. So if you are looking for good deals, these places are for you. There are also very good San Francisco hotels located in these towns. To find them, try surfing the Internet and book your hotel accommodations online. You may find many of these hotels in San Francisco giving out great discounts if you book online.

The vacation is coming to a close, and pretty soon it will be back to school or back to work. But I still haven’t finished reading the different chapter summaries of Jose Rizal’s El Filibusterismo.

There are 37 chapters, and the novel is quite riveting (although I still prefer the more romantic Noli Me Tangere). The El Fili has darker undercurrents which talk about revolution. It is easy to understand how the main character (Ibarra in the Noli) has transformed into Simoun in the El Fili.

As I’ve mentioned earlier, time is running out. I’m scrambling for a summary (or buod) of the entire novel. Perhaps if I had the luxury of time, then I would carefully savor Rizal’s writings and get to know his characters better.

Characters such as Padre Florentino, Fray Damaso, Isagani, Maria Clara, Senor Pasta, and many more will surely be treasured and remembered thanks to this masterpiece of Jose Rizal. Among the colorful characters I shall never forget is Donya Victorina, who was first introduced in Chapter 1 of the El Fili.

The strange thing is, most of us fail to appreciate the novel while we are still in high school or college. It is usually only when we have left the four walls of our school, when we are busy with work and family, that we finally learn to appreciate Rizal’s Noli and El Fili better.

That’s when we have more time, somewhat, to go back and read those old, yellowing pages. There’s no pressure, no high grades to aim for. There’s only the still, quiet air around us as we ease into a comfortable chair.

And as we go deeper into the story, we remember our life back then. Back when we were teenagers wishing we did not have to read Rizal, and back to the days when we had the time of our lives with our friends.

Truly, required reading does not have to be boring. It does not have to be some kind of chore. We may not see the true value today, but I am certain that somewhere down life’s road, we shall come back.

In the meantime, I will return to the pages of the El Filibusterismo, and admire the skill and writing talent of Jose Rizal.

Search Engine Optimization

Sure, you can do Pay Per Click. (Got lotsa money? Ready to spend $2-$5-$10 for every visitor?)

Sure you can do Yellow Page advertising. (Really, who can afford that?)

You can do Radio and TV. (Ha! As if any of us can afford that)

You can go to the bus station in the nearest big city and hand out cards with your website on them. (That’s probably as effective as those ideas mentioned above!)

So, what do you do?

Search Engine Optimization

Search Engine Optimization! That’s right. Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Time and time again, week after week, month after month, year after year… it always comes back to SEO.

Why SEO? Why search engine optimization? Because it works.

Why does it work?

it works because, with your site properly optimized, you’re there when people are looking for you.

Let’s say you’re in Dallas and you’re a plumber. If you’ve done TV ads or radio ads, you have to hope that your ad comes on and the exact moment that someone’s pipes have burst or their toilet is backed up.

If not, that is if they don’t see a TV ad or hear a radio ad (remember, that they’ll hear yours only if you can afford the exorbidant amounts of money to afford such ads), what will they do?

Most likely they’ll go online, to Google, AOL, MSN or Yahoo to look for you.

Sure, they might go to the Yellow Pages. That is if they don’t mind how dirty their hands will be. And if they don’t mind trying to decide between 100 different plumbers. (Should I go with the one with the full page ads? They’re probably too expensive! How about one of these little ones? Who knows if they’re any good?

More and more, people are going to their favorite search engine.

They’ll go there and search for ‘plumber in Dallas’ or ‘Dallas plumber’ or ‘fix pipes in Dallas’.

Search Engine Optimization

And, if your site is properly optimized, by a professional, and you come up on the first page of Google (or one of the other popular engines mentioned earlier), they may click on your site. Then, your site can sell them and, hopefully, get them to make the call!

You know how much better your site can sell them than whatever size of Yellow Page ad you can afford can sell them.

So, how do you find a good SEO company.

Look for one:

  1. that has been in business for a long time (GSEP.COM has been in business since 1995)
  2. that you can trust (GSEP.COM is a member of the BBB and the BBBOnline).
  3. that spells out clearly what you’re buying. Some companies, many in fact, say things like “You’ll be happy with our service” or “We’ll do a great job” or “We’re the best”. GSEP.COM guarantees, in writing, as part of the contract, top 10 rankings in Google, MSN, Yahoo and AOL. Guaranteed. In writing.

Don’t they sound right for you? Don’t they sound like they’re who you should contact for your search engine optimization needs?

They are. Visit the site and call them. You’ll be glad you did!
